TravelMuse Appoints Russ Lemelin as Chief Financial Officer

Former SideStep CEO and CFO to Lead Finance and Corporate Development

LOS ALTOS, CA - October 1, 2008 - TravelMuse, Inc., creators of TravelMuse.com, the online destination for finding inspiration, planning trips and booking travel, today announced Russ Lemelin has joined the company in the position of chief financial officer (CFO). In his role as CFO, Lemelin will lead finance, revenue expansion and corporate development for the company.

Lemelin, the former interim CEO and CFO of SideStep, Inc.—the Internet’s first travel search company—joined SideStep at the idea stage and successfully built it into one of the Internet’s leading travel sites. SideStep was acquired for approximately $200 million. Prior to SideStep, Lemelin oversaw corporate development at Komag, Inc., where his responsibilities included strategic planning and corporate finance. Before Komag, Lemelin was a management consultant with Ernst & Young’s Financial Advisory Services group where he focused on corporate restructuring and reorganizations. Lemelin holds a bachelors degree from California Polytechnic State University and a joint J.D./M.B.A. from the University of San Diego.
