Christy Mehrlich

Christy travels because she cannot imagine doing anything else. Travel combines some of her greatest interests: flying airplanes, photography, writing and observing different cultures. Recently Christy returned from a five-month trip flying around the United States where she wrote about everything from fly fishing in Vermont to building houses in New Orleans, from spelunking in Arkansas to staying on an active Mennonite dairy farm in Georgia. You can read about this trip at: www.skyfemme.com. Prior to adventure travel writing, she was the director of marketing and sales at an Information Technology company in the Midwest. Now, however, Christy calls the Bay Area home.

Current dream trips: flying her own plane on an African flying safari, spending a summer with family on the West side of Australia, sea kayaking through Glacier Bay, Alaska.
