Katrina Higham

Katrina Higham

At 14 years old, Katrina Higham is an experienced traveler, having cycled, hiked, climbed, gotten lost and been in emergency care facilities all over the world. Not that it matters, but her dad still won’t let her do what she really wants—scuba dive.

Katrina missed a year of school when she traveled around the world with her family. One of the life skills Katrina has acquired by extensive travel at such a young age is to be able to transition from the backpacker lifestyle to the suburban world of cell phones and chemically-dependent hair. Currently, she is splitting her time between contemplating the mysteries of quadratic equations and writing about her around-the-world adventure.
