Leslie Long is a New York–based travel writer. Although she loves where she lives, nothing thrills her more than heading out of town—whether it’s a weekend at the beach or halfway around the world. Her articles have appeared in the
New York Post,
Time Out Kids New York and
Westchester Magazine. She often takes her own photographs and has had several solo exhibits based on her travels, including “Havana Rough/Refined.” She gravitates toward coastal areas and tropical climates, but is up for discovering just about anything new. Lately, her travels have taken her to South and Central America, often with her son Erik, who loves to travel as much as she does.
