- Biography: Native Californian Debbie K. Hardin has been an editor and writer for more than 20 years. She recently authored two travel books: Great Destinations: San Diego and Tijuana (http://www.amazon.com/San-Diego-Tijuana-Destinations-Complete/dp/158157035X) and Great Destinations: Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia (http://www.amazon.com/Washington-D-C-Northern-Virginia-Destinations/dp/1581570767/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1253805750&sr=1-2) (with Nathan Borchelt). She specializes in family travel, destinations in Southern California, and the National Parks. Debbie lived in Washington, D.C., for 10 years—at which time she worked as a writer and editor in the White House. Debbie currently lives with her husband and daughter in north San Diego County.
