You can’t help but love the outdoors in Arkansas, the Natural State. The Ozark Mountains in the north offer incredible trout fishing, endless hiking trails, more than a dozen caves to explore, and great white water rafting on the Buffalo River. In Ouachita National Forest in western Arkansas, you can go digging for famous Arkansas quartz—some of the finest quartz in the world—or take a luxurious soak at the natural thermal hot springs, at Hot Springs National Park.

Arkansas also offers vibrant arts and entertainment including Delta Blues traditions along the Mississippi River in the east, and mountain folk music in the Ozarks. The state capital, Little Rock, offers an array of performing arts venues, including the Arkansas Repertory Theatre and Wildwood Park, an outdoor garden-filled venue that hosts the Wildwood Music Festival every June.
