Laguna Beach is located mid-way between Los Angeles and San Diego on the California coast. With its share of hotels, restaurants and shops, the town is also a busy artist community. Local festivals such as the Festival of Arts, Sawdust Art Festival and Art-A-Fair bring art fans from around the world.
The beach itself runs for seven miles and includes isolated coves and 30 public beaches as well as tidepools at low tide. California gray whale watching tours are available off the coast of Laguna Beach from mid-December to early April.
