Rehoboth Beach, Del., a historic beach resort town dating back to the late 1800s, is a major attraction for summertime East Coast beachgoers. Rehoboth Beach features its famous wide boardwalk, the focal point for seasonal festivals, amusement park activities, mini-golf and a bandstand which hosts free concerts throughout the year. Downtown on Main Street, there are dozens of eclectic dining options, more than 200 boutiques and diverse nightlife.

Rehoboth Beach also houses several art galleries and boasts a burgeoning artists’ community. The town celebrates art with its annual Paint-Out and Art Walk festival in late June, where invited artists paint in the open air then exhibit their work for the community. Other Rehoboth Beach festivals include the Chocolate Festival in March and Restaurant Week in early May, which celebrates Rehoboth’s culinary exploits.
