St. Petersburg, commonly referred to as St. Pete's, is a top Florida beach location. It is located on a peninsula on the Gulf of Mexico side of Florida and is connected to Tampa to the east via causeways and bridges.

Home to more than a dozen white-sand beaches, many of which are considered the best in the United States, St. Petersburg is an ideal family vacation destination. The most popular of these Florida beaches include Caladesi Beach on Caladesi Island State Park, Clearwater Beach and Fort De Soto Park, which has seven miles of beaches.
