Sarasota is a city in Sarasota County located on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Sarasota also includes several barrier islands, including Lido Key, Casey Key and Siesta Key, that separate Sarasota Bay from the Gulf of Mexico.

Sarasota is most known for its warm, sandy beaches and family-oriented attractions, including Sarasota Jungle Garden, Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf and Circus Sarasota. It also has a thriving arts and culture community, which features the well-regarded Ringling Museum of Art.
