Baltimore, Maryland is a northeastern city located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Nicknamed Charm City, Baltimore lives up to its reputation with family activities and fresh seafood dishes from Chesapeake Bay.

Baltimore is drenched in history. Most sites are easily viewed on foot, such as Fells Point, the city’s oldest area and busy entertainment district, and Mount Vernon, the cultural heart.

Historic neighborhoods encircle Inner Harbor, which was redeveloped in the late 1970s to include shops, restaurants and attractions. Expect to spot street entertainers and outdoor concerts as you explore the shopping district Harborplace. Other worthy sites in Inner Harbor include the National Aquarium and the Maryland Science Center. And if visiting during summer, check out an Orioles game at the beautiful Camden Yards stadium.
