Pinehurst, a small village in North Carolina, offers recreation at its best. Home to the Pinehurst Resort, which has eight golf courses and a spa, this haven combines small town charm with Southern Hospitality to the pleasure of each guest.
Pinehurst, appropriately named for its abundance of pine trees, takes it greens seriously. Situated near at least 40 golf courses, the village is anything but short on options. The village hosted the U.S. open in 2005 and once housed the World Golf Hall of Fame (now in St. Augustine, Florida).
Check out the much-renowned Pine Crest Inn Restaurant, ride on a horse-drawn carriage tour through town or get a great deal on one of the many golf packages offered.
Now you can stop pining after that vacation you’ve been whining about.
