Casino resorts and Boardwalk are the main attractions here. Atlantic City and Ventnor Boardwalks combined make it among the longest boardwalk in the world. This is the place to entertain the whole family, indoor and outdoor, early morning till late night.

The Boardwalk

Whether you are a historian or tourist, the Atlantic City Historical Museum is the perfect spot to get started. Find out about Atlantic City's early beginnings. For more current information on city's accommodations, shopping, restaurants and entertainment, there is a tourist information center at the Boardwalk Hall, more notably the historic landmark where famous events such as the Miss America pageant has taken place. Then add some creativity and imagination to your day by visiting the Atlantic City Art Center . Or, if you have had enough history and local culture, drop by the Trump Taj Mahal casino for gambling at its finest.

Chelsea Heights

During baseball season, spend an afternoon watching the Atlantic City Surf by the Lakes Bay at Sandcastle Baseball Stadium. Kick back, grab some ball-park food and let the games begin.

Absecon


Check out some peculiar destinations like Absecon Lighthouse, one of the largest in the U.S. You can also stay at The Dr. Jonathan Pitney House, a B&B and home of the city's founder. For a more conventional route, get comedy or concert tickets at the Borgata Music Box. Do not worry too much about reserving seats in advance because the venue holds up to 1000 people.

Downtown and Midtown

Discover a variety of flavors with tons of diverse restaurants, like the Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar and Los Amigos for some Caribbean and Latin specialties. If you happen to be shopping at The Walk outlet mall and need a break, Cavo Crepe Café has a full menu of sweet and savory treats. One of the most popular restaurants in town is Dock's Oyster House, a great place for seafood. However, some like it raw, so in that case swing by Moon at Dynasty for sushi and late-night cocktails. When you have had enough to eat, catch a show or exhibition at Atlantic City Convention Center. Then dance the night away at one of the city's hottest clubs Providence Atlantic City.

The Marina

Set sail with Atlantic City Cruises where dolphin watching is a favorite past time. If you want a more close-up encounters visit the Atlantic City Aquarium. However, once your appetite kicks in these sea creatures may look more tasty than cute. Back Bay Ale House not only serves micro-brewed beer, but seafood, steaks and burgers with a great view of the water. When the sun sets and the tide is up ride the The Wave, a casual spot for good drinks music and dancing.

Chelsea


Wine and dine with a romantic meal at Knife & Fork Inn. Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort, also offer elegant first-class restaurants and accommodations with astonishing views of the boardwalk. From outdoor rock climbing, pool and spa, and lavish fitness rooms to the 60,000 square foot casino floor, you will have plenty to keep you busy.

Outside the City

With so much excitement in the city Ventnor Beach is a great ways to get away from all the hurly burly. The whole family will enjoy Ocean City Parasailing with no experience necessary. Six Flags Great Adventure amusement park will keep the teens preoccupied all day, but for the younger ones who do not always make the minimum height requirement for those treacherous rollercoasters Storybook Land is a safer bet. Last but not least, don't forget the Cape May Gingerbread Tour by Trolley, also known as "America's Oldest Seaside Resort."
