From expansive desert to rugged purple mountains, New Mexico offers beauty, mystery and action for every adventurous traveler. New Mexico lies in the southwestern United States sharing a border with Mexico, between Texas and Arizona. Its rich Native American and Mexican heritage can be seen throughout the state, whether through its adobe architecture, its arts and cultural festivals, or its exquisite cuisine.

Visit Albuquerque, New Mexico’s largest city, which gets more than 360 days of sunlight per year and is home the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, which hosts more than 600 hot air balloons every year.

To the north is the beautiful capital city of Santa Fe, which lies in the midst of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and at the foot of the Rockies. Santa Fe is New Mexico’s arts and cultural center, home to the Santa Fe Opera and more than 300 art galleries and dealers. Santa Fe offers phenomenal hiking, cycling and white water rafting opportunities.

Other New Mexico destinations include the southern college town of Las Cruces along the Rio Grande, and Taos in the north, which offers world-class skiing at the Taos Ski Valley and an acclaimed arts scene.
