Tijeras is a village in central New Mexico. It lies on State Highway 14, a 62-mile scenic byway also known as the Turquoise Trail, which links Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Nearby attractions include the Tijeras Pueblo Archaological Site, Tijeras Canyon, the Sandia and Manzano mountains, and the Cibola National Forest.
