Buffalo is more than a mere stopping-over point for tourists eager to view the grandeur of Niagara Falls. New York’s far western city, Buffalo, has a long legacy as a frontier boomtown in the 1800s with prosperous manufacturing industries in steel and shipping industries, and later, the automobile and aerospace industries.
