Plan your trip to Moab, UT

Known as the Utah adventure capital, Moab is a city in Grand County in eastern Utah. Whether you bike the Slickrock Trail, raft along the Colorado River, or hike to Dead Horse Point—Moab offers plenty of outdoor fun.

The Moab area is home to two major national parks: Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. Known as a red-rock wonderland, Arches National Park houses the world’s largest collection of natural stone arches (around 2,000) including the famous Delicate Arch. For stunning views of the geological formations, visitors can take an auto tour of the area or go hiking or biking along the park’s many trails.

Canyonlands National Park features canyons that were carved by the Colorado River and the Green River. The park, which is divided into five distinct regions, Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze, Horseshoe Canyon and the River, offers its visitors a series of activities including whitewater rafting and off-roading. Each year around Easter, Moab hosts the Easter Jeep Safari where participants go off-roading along a series of trails including Poison Spider Mesa trail.
