For 11 months out of the year, Warrens is a small village of barely 300 tucked away in rural Wisconsin. When the end of September rolls around, the population surges to more than 100,000 as visitors flock to this unassuming village for the annual Warrens Cranberry Festival. More than just cranberries, this event brings 1,000 different vendors of antiques, crafts, flea market and farmer goods to the area for the weeklong celebration.
Don’t forget to stop by and say hello to Yogi and Boo Boo. That’s right. Yogi Bear has his very own campsite called Jellystone Park in Warrens. Either camp out at the campsite or stay in comfort at the Three Bears Lodge, where kids and adults will both appreciate the Lodge’s two water parks (one indoor and one outdoor) and its lakeside location on those warm Wisconsin days.
From garlic lovers to cranberry nuts to insect eaters, there's a food festival taking place somewhere in the United States this year for you.
