St. Croix is one of the United States Virgin Islands, which are located between the Caribbean and the Atlantic Ocean. About 50 miles east of Puerto Rico, they make up part of the large arc of Caribbean islands that stretch from Florida down to South America. St. Croix is the southernmost of the Virgin Islands, and is also the largest.
