Hi Stefania, getting reservation information fed back automatically into trip plans is unfortunately something we're still working on...
In the meantime, you can copy/paste your email into the notes field of one of your research items.
E.g. it sounds like you're on windows so you could:
Click "Add Item" link at the top left of your trip plan page
Select type "Transportation" in the drop down
Enter the title like "Rental car pick-up"
Optionally enter the address and date of the pick-up location
Press Ctrl+A Ctrl+C in your reservation email
Press Ctrl+V in the notes field of the new item dialog window
Click "Add" button
... and this should do the trick.
Hope it helps and feel free to reply if you have more questions.
Cyril.

Hi! It appears that we have 2 Brooklyn, NY in our database and you ended up with the country hamlet. We'll be removing the latter from our system shortly.
In the meantime, you can go to the famous Brooklyn @ http://www.travelmuse.com/destinations/US/NY/047/00-brooklyn and click "Save to Trip" button to add it to your trip.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your feedback!
Thank you for using TravelMuse!

Hi Lieven, thank you for your feedback. We support currently 30k destinations, mostly those with reservable accommodations, but we're continuously working on adding new destinations to our system.
If you add a custom destination using the bookmarklet, we are not able to offer the ability to search for attractions, hotels, etc. for that destination since we do not know about it, but you can still schedule that destination on Step 3. Schedule page by drag&dropping it into a day with notes.

Hello, you unfortunately do not have control over the PDF page breaks as they are automatically generated by our software, but it is an issue TravelMuse may be able to fix. If you can send your trip guide to support@travelmuse.com, we'll be happy to review it and make necessary tweaks to our software.

What kind of things do you want to see in Peru? If you're interested in Hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu a tour company is definitely recommended. There's a good article @ http://www.travelmuse.com/articles/peru/inca-trail-to-machu-picchu on what to expect and how to plan for this journey.

TravelMuse enhanced their planner tool today with full support for multi-destination trips. You can now easily plan road trips and tours of continents spanning multiple cities. It's pretty cool! Check it out!

Hello,
A URL is not needed to add a custom event, but the name of the location in the research details section is indeed required. It can be any text
you want though.
E.g. if you're not sure which restaurant you want to go to yet, you can add a custom event of type restaurant with Title "lunch along the river" and name "a restaurant on the banks of the Isar".
If you know you want to go to http://www.travelmuse.com/pois/DE/02/dining/klostergasthof-andechs you can save this item in your research and then drag it into your schedule on the step 3 Schedule page.
Hope it helps,

This is an awesome hike you won't forget!
My recommendations would be to:
Camp close to the trailhead the night before to acclimate to the altitude and...
Get an early start like 6am
Bring some gloves if you plan to climb up the cables
Take tons of water (or iodine tablets to refill at the river)
Enjoy!

Sounds like what we're looking for!
http://www.giannifranzi.it/gianni_franzi_rooms.htm looks very quaint. I'll add that to my trip plan right now. Thanks for the tip!

Although multi-destination trip planning is something TravelMuse is still working on to make it easy, there are some tricks you can use today to plan other destinations in your trip:
Go to the Home page
Type in the desired destination in the top right search box and select it from the drop down
Once on the destination page, click "Save this page for later" and select your trip name (you need to be a logged in member for this)
Go back to your trip from the "My Trips" drop-down in the top-nav of the page
Once in the planner, you can drag & drop that destination into your schedule on the day you plan to be there
You can also click on that destination link in your tripfolio to search for things to do and places to stay there
Hope it helps!

Hi! I'm planning a trip to Northern Italy next year and my wife would like to spend a few days in the Cinque Terre. Has anyone any recommendation of good places to stay there?
We'd be more interested in mixing with the locals than big hotels surrounding the area.
Thanks!
