Liechtenstein is a country in western Europe and is bordered by Switzerland and Austria. There are several farming communities in the country, but Liechtenstein is mainly known for its ski resort villages like the Malbun ski area.
Many of Liechtenstein’s popular attractions are in the capital, Vaduz, which can be seen on specific tourist trains that run throughout the city. You can spot main destinations like the Red House, St. Florin Cathedral as well as Vaduz Castle. Or you can walk along Staedle, a popular street in Liechtenstein which houses several upscale restaurants, shops, the town hall and several museums such as the National Museum, the Stamp Museum, the National Art Gallery and the Landesmuseum (which features exhibits about the history of Liechtenstein). You’ll also discover a collection of monuments, considered by locals and visitors as contemporary art, located at various areas throughout Vaduz.
