Stayed in this hotel during a business trip and turned out to be one of my favorite stays in a hotel thus far. The Lobby of the hotel is very spacious and...

Nice hotel in a convenient location. But I stayed there for one night and was charged for three. I phoned, e-mailed, even went there in person to get it sorted out. A month later there has been no resolution. Get everything in writing when checking in or you may just get ripped off like I did.

due to a power outage the hotel lost electricity, however emergency power allowed one elevator to run. we were checking out at the time and needed to get our luggage in our room onthe 12TH floor, the staff told us on several occasions that there were no elevators running ,after waiting 2 hours until power was restored,we learned that an elevator was in operation for VIP"s,I guess if you are over 65 your not a VIP.

We stayed at this hotel (2 rooms of us) and in the past had never had any problems having large number of people in the room (we have never had to pay to register eeach person). Both rooms had: water damage, peeling paint or wallpaper, leaky faucets, stained carpets, loosely hinged coubhurts, the one room had mould and the AC was broken(you could see where there had been water damage under the hard wood), broken irons, faulty functioning remote, missing robes.[yes i have pictures], even the pool where the people were nice, the changerooms severly REEKD of mould, the hallway ceiling in our hall was FALLING (you could see cracks where it was faling) and the air vents were filthy, there was also no ventlation system in the bathroom. Staff in lobby were Snooty as well as the bell hops who too kforever too get to our room so we gave up and took our own carts down. We were staying there under the premace that we were paying * a night so it would have been just shy of *... we ended up paying *. . . they wanted us to pay over * .. THEY tired to tell us we parked there when we did not, sent us in the wrong direction when we were leaving the parking after dropping people off, we got changed * for that though we managed to to get that revesed because we were super annoyed by the lack of service and them trying to charge us for a vechicle we did not have in the parkinglot (like we would stay there in the room if we owned a BMW). We had to chase down the cleaning staff to get our towels taken away and our grabage emptied. There was no notice

The hotel was very nice and the location was excellent. However, it was not very kid friendly. We purposely booked a hotel with a pool so the kids could swim. The pool only allowed about 10 people at a time so we were turned away one day when we came down to swim. The only seating the pool area were two small couches. There was never a conceirge on duty so if you had to ask a question, you had to wait in the long lines that were always at the check-in desk. The staff was friendly but apparently there were not enough of them. We called house keeping for an extra blanket at bedtime, and it took them at least a half hour to bring it. There was always a line to get on the elevators. When they came, they were usually full and you had to wait for a second or third one.

Children are only allowed to swim from 3-5 pm. During our allotted swimming time, the spa staff gave the rules and enforced them to the degree you could not enjoy it. Another guest under the age of 18 entered the pool disregarding every rule, when asked why this was allowed for others but not for us,the spa staff called security! We will definitely not stay there again. Not a good place for a family that has children.

The entire hotel is awesome /inviting, the staff was courteous/prompt. Toronto is friendly- although most were visitors (little help directions). We managed since locations are walking distance/quick train ride. Skip the 30+ taxi/shuttle and take a 2.50 train ride to union station, which is two blocks from the hotel. The Azure has nice d?r, but the food needs improvement. The local restaurants and room service are great! The nightlife was excellent! DJ?s played ole school & r&b to pop & house, my Sis and I, danced until 4 am. Enjoy the fitness center and beautiful pool/Jacuzzi, as well!
