I chose this hotel over many others because of its price, location, and relative luxury features. I was on a week long vacation exploring London. The...

I've stayed at the Cavendish many times now and is a preferred destination for a central London location. They do play their room rates according to season and demand so the prices can vary enormously so check the internet offers or book well in advance if your plans allow - I've the same room type from 300 a night to 560 a night!!The staff are good but a little impersonal - I've stayed there many many times often for 2 weeks at a time and have yet to really be treated any differently from the day visitor. Great rooms, superb but expensive restaurant, hellish expensive breakfast but fortunately there are plenty of small cafes and great resturants in the vicinity. The location is brilliant - whether for business or vacation with quick access to parks; regents street. oxford street, trafalager square, the palace et al. A nice place to stay but, as I said, watch the prices!
