I travel with tremendous frequency overseas, and this hotel appeared to be a gem, but make no mistake, it was deplorable. The location is ideal, but the service and the facility are the worst I've ever suffered. The staff was inattentive and surly, they lost a box of my belongings and to date the General Manager has done nothing to compensate me for struggling through a week of meetings without my materials. I had maintenance workers peering in my window one morning, and a fire door that rattles all night every night enough to keep a heavy sleeper like me awake. The food at the restaurant is mediocre and over-priced even for London, and the only member of the staff you'll find endearing is the cat that roams the halls, Minnie. I frequent boutique hotels because the service is generally top-notch and better than most of the larger chains, but you won't get that here. Shame, as the location is great. Hopefully someone will attend to this but I will definitely not return.
