We stayed at the Bonnington Hotel in Holburn our first few nights in the UK. The hotel staff was exceptional. The room was small but very clean and the bathroom was very nice. My only complaint was that the bed was a spring bed and the springs often put pressure on us that was uncomfortable. The street noise and especially the constant sirens were a little disturbing but, hey...that's the city. The food in the bar was very tasty and the breakfasts were excellent. I had one occassion to need the staff for a minor medical issue and they responded very nicely. The location is within easy access of 2 tubes stations and ample taxi's so getting around London was very easy from this Hotel.

The hotel is very close to the underground and Euston Station which made getting around the city easy. The room was small with cracks in the walls and in need of paint with no view except the back alley. However, it was extremely clean with a comfortable bed. The personnel were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts offered a variey of foods and was very good."

i couldn't believe this was ranked as a 4 star hotel. i asked them to press a suit when i arrived and they said ""there's a dry cleaners down the street."" the room was as tiny as can be. convenient location, sure, but definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Although very small in size, I enjoyed my 7 night stay in the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Location is central. Concierge friendly and helpful."

I thought it was a great hotel, by European standards. Close to the Metro, great location. Also, it was pretty hot so the Air conditioning was great.

My husband and I and 15 yo daughter booked a triple room for one night. We didn't get any sleep because the room absolutely REEKED of cigarette smoke. The smoke had permeated into all the bedheads and bedding etc...it was absolutely disgusting. The next morning we were told that we had a smoking room. We were given no option when we booked in. We do NOT smoke and what on earth possessed the staff at the hotel to book a smoking room for us when they saw we had a 15 year old daughter?
