This is probably the cheapest hotel in Temple Bar (not counting hostels), and while it's not the most wonderful and the staff isn't super friendly it does...

Uncharacteristic was the silent and even unfriendly Irish reception. During my brief stay in Dublin, the only hostility I encountered was strangely enough...

A Great Location
The best thing I can say about the Blooms Hotel is its location. It is located in the Temple Bar District, which includes many nightclubs and pubs.

Needs some updates. The adaptors wouldn't work for our chargers and and it was a little noisy-try not to stay on the first floor. There is a club underneath and the music is really loud and goes until pretty late. Other than that it was good. Nice free Irish breakfast was inclused and the location is unbeatable.

Shower curtains in the bathroom (difficult to keep clean), mold on the ceilings and floors of bathroom, sheets were rough, room felt dirty. Expensive for what you got! There's also a club downstairs that stays open until 6am which is great if you're there for that. Otherwise you can hear it - even on one of their highest floors - all night. Pay a little more and stay at The Temple Bar Hotel

It was a basic no frills hotel. Someplace to sleep. Great location, Near all the bars and within walking distance to all the sights.
