It was a good value for what we paid. The staff was friendly and helpfull to us. A special thanks to Glendy and the Bar and wait staff. They were excellent! The bad issues were the Cruise ship people hundreds came daily . Much to crowded for us.The food was above average with so so drinks. The rooms were a true 2 star and needed updateing and repair. The road was like the Datona speedway. No way to cross it but run! There is not much on Grand Cayman but crowds,if you are looking to relax skip the Island. If you want to vegg out on the hotel that is fine also as it is all inclusive. If this hotel resort was on a deserted or less built up strip or Island I would say fantastic but for the price I paid it was OK.

We chose the Beach Club because it was all-inclusive. When we added up all the costs we could have occurred from food and drinks, we saved loads of money. Probably about 2000 dollars. Seriously. It was a great place to have a honeymoon. With all the money we saved we were able to take a lot of tours and do tons of snorkeling. The place looks older but the staff are so wonderful. They will help you with anything you need! I love the fact that Beach Club has a sister hotel at Spanish Bay Reef Resort and that they will take you there for free and you can enjoy any of their amenities for free as well. It was nice to snorkel on the other side of the island and try different food and drinks. I would recommend, where else can you spend less than 3000 dollars for an island vacation that includes all drinks and food and even some water sports. Oh Yeah I forgot, Beach Club is partnered with Resort Sports so you can do whatever you want! Scuba, Catamaran Rides, Jet Ski, Snorkel, Glass Boat Rides, Kayak, I mean the possibilities are endless. I can't wait to go back. We made cool friends while we were there. If you take a tropicana tour (which we did several), ask for Rex he is the best! Hope you enjoy as much as we did. PS Don't feed the sharks!

Buffet breakfast was excellent. Lunch buffet wasn't too bad but it was nice to be able to order from the menu. Dinner was average. Staff was excellent. We were in a non-beach front room near the kitchen and other staff work area and it was noisy in the early morning and afternoon. Beach was crowded when cruise ships in port. Hotel guests always had own designated beach and restaurant areas. For the price, it was worth it.

The cruiseship crowd that floods the beach is annoying. No area for hotel guests and the trash left is ridiculous. Hotel presentation leaves a bit to be desired. Our room was clean and well kept by the staff. The wait staff also are very nice and accomodating. Bar staff were nice as well. Front desk helpful with our needs and questions. Food selection and quality could be better.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating to every request. Food at breakfast (fruit, juice, french toast, pancakes, eggs) excellent. Lunch sandwiches, salads, burgers. Dinner choice of 3 entrees. Desserts were only fair. Rooms small but conveniently located to the beach. Part of the beach crowded when cruise ships in port, but hotel guest area remained uncrowded.

Not what you expect from the large AI's and we knew that. Some staff acted as if we were an imposition. If you don't mind very limited choices on food, it is OK. Our very polite 13 yr son was not treated nicely when asking for a soft drink. We sometimes felt we were bothering the employees and then remembered we were the guests. Grand Cayman Yes. Beach Club Colony, not again.
