Dreams is a nice resort, the grounds are beautiful! Some other pros are the beach, pool and activities (the shows are fun and we loved the excursions offered). If you prefer not to pay for excursions, Dreams provides you a list of complimentasry activites everyday, we did Yoga and kayaking (We loved it)! The staff is amazing! Everyone is nice and friendly, please remember to tip :) When ordering a drink at the bar, always ask for a double shot of whatever, or your drink will be weak. Now for the cons :( I was expecting a much nicer room, dont get me wrong the rooms are Ok. But for what I paid, I expected much more. The room was too cold, everytime we went to sleep, it felt like we were laying on ice. On day my husband noticed very small bugs near my suitcase and on the table. I hate bugs! The toilet was also stopped up one day. The food is vey average, please don't eat the desserts or burgers (they are not good). I could not wait to get back to the US for real SUGAR. The Asian restaurant is the best, the food is actually good. The breakfast food is good also. Trust me do not plan to eat on the resort for all of your stay, you almost have to go off the resort for variety. Overall, it not the worst resort, but I think I will be staying somewhere next time. There are so many resorts and hotels on the strip.

The resort was very nice and well maintained, however it is undergoing some renovation and I would have liked to have known that. It was loud from 8 am til 4 or 5 pm. Most days that was fine but one day I would liked to have taken a nap and that was not possible. Stay there again? Not while it was under renovation.

The service and attention were great at this hotel, however, what you get for your money is not a whole lot. Room leaked from the rain, we had 3 rooms and 2 of them leaked while the 3rd was cloggled up in the balcony. You can tell this is an older hotel that needs some updating in some areas. Didn't have a view from our room. There were no activities included with our stay. Pool was very plain. They were under construction and we couldn't rest in the room during the day with all the noise. Kind of like the commercial!! LOL We spent 3 nights at the Moon Palace when we checked out of here and their facilities were so much better had tours included and their buffets were excellent. Service was also great and the pools were amazing, specially for the kids. They had a kids pool with games, slides, etc... Kids really enjoyed their stay here. I would recommend this for someone who wnats to be in the middle of all and are not looking to go on tours. Night clubs within walking distance, shopping, etc... If you are looking to relax and do tours then go to Moon Palace you get a lot more and was actually *less for equal nights stay!

our two kids had the best time there. the explorer club was excellent. Thanks to Navil and Felisa for making our kids stay so beautiful. The staff was very helpful. The front dest staff was very friendly, room service was unbelievably fast. The pool was extravagent. It was an enjoyable and relaxing place to be. we would recommend it very highly to our family and friends.

Everything about this property is amazing - the staff, the location, the food, & the drinks. It is located right next to many of the restaurants and clubs so you can walk to those spots. The staff is super friendly and many remember you from day to day (bartenders had my beer waiting when they saw me coming). My room looked out on the dolphins - definitely worth the price. Next time I'm in Cancun I'll be staying at Dreams!
