Comfort Suites Scottsdale is walking distance to Old Town Scottsdale and the San Francisco Giants Spring Training Ballpark. It's approximately eight miles from the Sky Harbor International Airport. Guests are welcome to relax in the hotel's indoor pool, indoor whirlpool, or outdoor whirlpool. In the morning, a complimentary continental breakfast is served with a free copy of the USA Today newspaper. There are also exercise, laundry, and parking facilities on site. Kids under 18 stay free. The Comfort Suites Scottsdale is located one mile from Fashion Square Mall and Old Town Scottsdale, two miles from Phoenix Zoo and Desert Botanical Gardens, and four miles from Phoenix Municipal Stadium, Sun Devil Stadium, ASU Stadium, Mill Avenue Shops, and Gammage Auditorium. American West Arena, Arizona State Capital, Arizona State Fairgrounds, and Westworld of Scottsdale are within ten miles of the hotel. Every room is equipped with air-conditioning, clock radio, dataport, free local calls, and cable television.

We arrived middle of the night. Front desk was friendly(smiled). Room was clean. Beds were great with 4 pillows each. We needed more bedding for the sofa, and service was quick. The half wall lacks privacy for adults, but we have small children so it worked for us. The other draw back was the pool being under construction. We like an indoor pool with the AZ sun. The breakfast was better than other hotels(without in-hotel restaurants) offer, adding eggs and muffins to waffles. We weren't flying this trip, but it is easy to get to the airport. For this room and breakfast(for 6), the price is unbeatable in the area. We are on our way today for our second stay.

Great hosts. Good downtown location at a fair price. If I could mention one thing...wish they'd get rid of their small charges for local phone, safe deposit box, etc., and just roll the charges into their daily rate. While I still return, I always leave with a sour taste from some new surprise charge of a few dollars each day, plus hotel taxes. Oh, and the hotel can be noisy at times with loud kids and barking dogs. Luck of the draw.

This hotel is a jewel in Scottsdale.The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and willing to help with all requests.`Indoor pool was nice along with outdoor hot tub. I would definetely stay there again The complimentary breakfast was adequate but still only a continental.

Although the breakfast was monotonous - same items every morning - the lobby was clean, inviting, and they always had fresh coffee available as well as two computers for guests' use. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

I've stayed at this hotel at least 10 times in the past year. Same friendly staff always greets me. Clean and convenient. Breakfast is repetitive - could use a little variety.

Convenient if not great location. Clean. Good breakfast, but repetitive -- exactly the same food every day. Friendly enough staff.Relatively quiet. Terrible mattresses. And, be careful that if you book for a suite, make sure you get a suite -- most rooms are suites, but we were given one of the few that are not actually suites.
