Sedona Rouge Resort and Spa is designed and fashioned with motifs reminiscent of ancient Andalusia and Morocco and vividly evokes images of the cultures that enlivened 11th century Spain. Each of the the 77 well-appointed guestrooms are designed in the spirit of Andalusian luxury, with deep colors woven through soft fabrics and comfortable furnishings. All rooms are furnished with custom king or double queen beds, luscious 250-thread count linens and goose down feather duvets, a chaise lounge, ornate desk and Syrian chest. Additional amenities include 32 inch LCD flat screen televisions and spacious walk-in showers with overhead rain-shower sprays. Many rooms feature vaulted ceilings, fire places and balconies with 500 year-old Tunisian wrought-iron railings. The spa, set apart from the main hotel, is an oasis of relaxation and pampering. Further, the exquisite REDS onsite dining venue and lounge offers delightful southwestern cuisine complemented by an impressive wine collection.
I am sorry to say that this hotel was the low point of our trip to Sedona (great reviews to come for Red Rock Balloon Company and El Lote Cafe). I found...

This hotel clean and comfortable. The rooms had great bathrooms and beds. The flat screen tv was a plus too. However the staff was not very friendly, the location was on a busy street away from the main town, and the hotel is pricey for what it offers. It was nice for a night, but we won't go back. Sedona is beautiful though and there are more hotel retreats off the beaten path. Picazzo's restaurant nearby is great though.

I spend 3 nights at the Sedona Rouge. The room was adequate for the price. No real view from the room but there are great views from the pool and top floor. Breakfast room service was expensive and unappetizing - fruit was not ripe or washed. We never received the advertised pastries. They advertise a rooftop bar but instead you have to go and get your own drink from your room or from the attached restaurant and take it up yourself. The spa was glorious and customer service was tops.

Sedona Rouge is ideally located, has first class amenities and friendly staff. The bed was the most comfortable of any hotel bed in my travel lifetime. Would recommend it highly.

Loved our Romatic one-night getaway. Very comfortable and quiet. Dinner at Reds was nice, service could have been better, but it was Valentines (busy evening). We would stay here again.
