It was horrible
I was there for one week. The room smell like mildewed carpet. The toilet was so dirty that you can see all the stains on the seat. But the loc...

The room photo's on-line are no where near reality. The photo showed a wonderful up-to-date room, the reality...filthy old carpet, the room decor was new in the 1950's and still going strong...badly. Dim light bulbs in all the lamps...even with all the lamps lit, you cannot read anything. They also save money by not allowing the heat to go past 71 degrees. No coffee, no water, no nothing in the morning! The internet costs 5 for 10 minutes. Every other hotel offers internet access for free today. The cost for a room, is no way worth what they offer. I asked about getting the room I saw on their internet site and was told that begins at 400 a night. Misleading advertising is all I can say about this hotel. I'm truly disgusted with my stay there. No resturant, no bar, as I said, no coffee in the morning, nothing. No water in the vending machines, bring your own. Parking...a whopping 27 daily. They also wanted to charge us for having a safe in our room, we didn't ask for it, nor used it. They did take off that charge but it was nervy. So watch your bill. Better yet, find a hotel that advertises what accomodations they truly do offer the public for the price they advertise. Would I go back again? NEVER!

I have stayed at this hotel twice in past years and have found it to be fine. This yr. upon check-in the smell of the room, the large stains on the carpet and the filty, old bedspread and drapes made me cringe. I stayed two out of 4 nights but when I got bedbug bites on the second night, I called Travelocity and told them I was leaving. The restaurant next door was closed and only 1 of 2 elevators were operational. It was an overall bad experience. The only positive was that the staff were very, very nice.

The hotel is in a excellent location. Many attractions close, beverly hills, the grove, hollywood walk of fame. Very nice surroundings, many ammeneties close by. Staff is friendly and helpful. This my second time back in 2 years. The only draw back is the 27/ day parking.

Me and my family needed a place to stay overnight in hollywood and dispite the bad reviews we read we thought, how bad could it be?we had a suite and THAT was disapointing. this is only good if you need a quick place to catch some sleep, thats it. the location really isnt that good anyway.

Room was incredibly small, overall an unpleasant experiance. They charged 25 per day to park a car which was not mentioned in their write up. Would never stay here again.

The AAA 3 diamond rating is very misleading for this hotel. The room was dirty and smelled of smoke (in a non-smoking room). When I asked to speak to a hotel manager, no one was available and despite several calls, I have not yet been contacted.

Disappointed
I was expecting the hotel to be nicer than it was. The location was nice, but the hotel itself was dreary.
