I expected much more from this hotel. I reserved a roll a way bed for my son and foam pillows and called to confirm a night before; also, when we checked in they said, yes, you will have a the bed and the foam pillows. When we get to our room, of course, nothing is there. It took 3 hours, angry phone calls to managers to get what we requested. The Pool area is pretty, but the water is disgusting. It's always dirty (early morning, day or night). It's yellow and slimy. I will never return to this hotel.

We spent four nights at this hotel and loved it. The hotel staff, from the front desk to the valet staff to the pool staff, were wonderful. The ambiance is different - sort of "hippie chic" - which seemed a bit odd at first, but we ended up enjoying the hotel and everything about it. I would definitely go back, but maybe at a time of the year when the rates are a bit lower. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

I went to get away from work for a few days and had a great time. The staff was super friendly and always seemed to go the extra mile. When I checked in, they gave me a free upgrade. The only downside was that they do everything for you. From parking your car to bringing you ice. Also, the paths are dirt, so don't wear open toe shoes.

I love the Parker Meridien - especially in the summer when you can get amazingly cheap rates. Yes, it's VERY hot in the summer, but it is really worth it. Every year I go with a friend, and this year, for my birthday I went with 6 friends and we had a blast. The staff is friendly, the rooms are very cool, spacious and comfortable. Drinks around the pool are expensive, but it's a small price to pay for overall relaxation and just the feeling that the place is like your own gorgeous backyard. The restaurant food is also excellent. All of my first-time visitor friends vow to go back. now, if I was spending */night, I am not sure it would be worth it... but I'm not sure anything is worth that much. But for the * - */night I've paid each time I go in teh summer, it is a FANTASTIC getaway!
