Oh gosh, I really shouldn't do this... I'm giving 5 stars to a place that will henceforth be unbookable. You see, finding good, affordable hotels in SF is...

It is extremely difficult to find an affordable place to stay in San Francisco. But this place did it! Only $80 per night for a clean, modern room, free...

Ask for a room away from the noisy stairs ! We liked this hotel a lot. The room was very new looking and the price was very right! The neighborhood...

This hotel is not worthy of Best Western standards, and we are surprised that it is endorsed by Best Western....upon arrival and check-in we discovered that the parking area is VERY cramped and the rooms are not air-conditioned. The location leaves much to be desired as well...many homeless in the area and other less desireables. The manager would only cancel our three night reservations for the subsequent nights forcing us to stay in a sweltering room for one night with no adjustment to the room rate. We intend to find every travel website I can to warn other travelers to stay away from this hotel. We rebooked the remainder of our reserved nights in San Francisco at the Best Western Grosvenor Airport Hotel, so you can see, we are not anit-Best Western...just VERY DISAPPOINTED in the San Francisco Civic Center location.

I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again, but I'd look around a little more first. Location wasn't really within walking distance of anything (except a really nice German restaurant), but the bus stop is nearby and is easy to use. The neighborhood seemed generally safe, but my wife wasn't totally confident and didn't want to go out alone at night. Room was clean, bed was big and comfortable, but the room location wasn't good. We were stuck in a little cubby without front windows and with a bad view of an alley from the back. I think that if we had a better room our experience would have been much better. The continental breakfast was slightly above average. FREE PARKING is a big advantage to this hotel. That can save you a lot of money in SF. Some staff were friendly others were very average.

The hotel is located not too far from Market Street which is a major street in downtown San Francisco and public transportation from there to downtown costs 1.50 (each way). It's not luxurious but it's fine if you are in the city to sight-see and are on a budget. The room was clean with a small refrigerator and microwave and free internet service. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was a great value for the location, microwave, refrigerator, free parking, and free internet. The staff was very helpful. I could not find any other hotel that was walking distance to the Moscone center with such amenities and for such a resonable price.

I have been stayed like 4 times in this hotel and what i liked from there has been it location. In addition, the rooms i'm stayed were very clean and everything ok. The only thing that i did like it was on my last trip, we arrived at 10am we were very tired just wanted to sleep and when we tried to make the check-in, the gentlemen that was on the office told us to come back later because was too early to make the check-in! We came back at 1:30pm and finnally our room was available. The parking is ok there is a lot in the rear side of the hotel. we had breakfast and was ok as well. I would recomend this hotel to stay again. It is not luxurious but it's ok to relax....

The hotel is inconvenient to main sightseeing attractions and not in the best area of town. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The fan in the room didn't work so it was hot. The bathroom was big but had no place to put toiletrries. It was convenient to a bus line.
