The hotel staff was great...from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the very helpful woman at the daily comp wine and cheese. The room was beautiful with fireplace and jacuzzi tub. The gardens around the hotel are so beautiful and well maintained...I wanted to take home the rosemary bush that was taller than me! Great spa treatments and steakhouse too. We will definitely be back for an anniversary trip.

My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon - and would go back in a minute! It is very close to the center of the city, but feels a world away. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the spa tops it all off! The wineries were our big attraction, but this was the perfect place to come back to after a long day of sipping wine!

This is one of the best places to stay in town. Nearby Downtown Sonoma's Square and a stones throw from the best wineries in the area. Great places to eat and many sport activities. Recommend visiting during the summer or autumn months.

The architecturally landscaped gardens are beautiful! The service is superb from the Reservation to the Front Desk to the room service! We are coming back in five months for another wine country vacation that reminds us so much of Italy!

We wrote a letter in advance to let the hotel know we were coming for our honey moon. When we arrived they had a bottle of champagne and two glasses waiting for us. The cottage had a fire place and bathroom had extra large tub. Breakfast was terrific and in the evening we'd do a take out and eat it on our porch. The spa was pretty good too.
