I've stayed there a few times due to lack of options and it's pretty much what I expected. Could be a little cleaner but you could probably say that about...

Stayed here after a concert and it served it's purpose. The building is older but the room seemed clean. If you are looking for a place to stay for more...

I got the Super 8 through the Hotwire gamble. Should have took it for a sign as to how our gambling would go in South Lake Tahoe... ;-) The room was OKAY. Nothing spectacular. Cable with HBO, but no movie options, which kept us at the Casino until 1 am, instead of relaxing in the room. NOTE: This was my first time using Hotwire... and I will NEVER do that again. Got a smoking room, never asked for one. There were only two small towels, but when I went down to ask for more, they graciously handed me another set. So that was not a problem. I woke up stuffy and congested from the dust and the smell of cigarettes. The final, discomforting, note was that when I went to take a shower... at about 9am, there was only Luke Warm or Ice Cold options. No hot water... ugh! -- oh, the coffee at the continental breakfast gave me indigestion the rest of the day. On the positive side, it was not noisy and we got a good nights sleep which was all we really wanted.

When we arrived there was still garbage all over the room, and the bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned for weeks. We had no towels in the room, and when new I called for new towels, one had BLOOD stains all over it!!!! The staff was rude and did not seem to care about our complaints!!!! This place was scary!!!!

I stayed here only because of the good internet connection. Room was nice, spacious, but no breakfast in the morning, only coffee. Manager said ""there will also be bread next month, when the snow comes""

The carpet had a burn mark from an iron. The walls were ""stained"" with something. There was a strange odor in the room. I checked out after an hour. Horrible place. Found another hotel closer to the border of Nevada for just 20 more and it was MUCH better.

In May, there is still a bit of snow on the ground and the nights can be chilly. NO HEAT in the room. Heater was busted. Holes in the walls, walls stained and dirty. NO HOT WATER. I kid you not, there was NO HOT WATER available in the room, and there was a very large wasp's nest at the hot tub. Never, ever staying here again no matter how cheap they are!
