The Bavarian style Sonnenalp Resort is located in the heart of Vail Village, a short walk from the Vista Bahn chairlift. The property has 4 restaurants, a bar and lounge, fitness center, full service spa, indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs and an 18-hole championship golf course. All rooms and suites include 1 King or 2 double beds, in-room refreshment center, flat screen TV with LodgeNet access, free high-speed Internet access, air conditioning, video game consoles, humidifier, and personal safe. Suites also feature larger bathrooms, gas log fireplaces and walk-in closets. Bathrooms feature heated marble floors, double vanities, soaking tubs and separate shower. Golden Peak Suites are 1050 sf and feature a private master bedroom and bath, a second bedroom and a living room and dining room area. Vail Mountain Suites are 1350 sf and offer 2 bedrooms including a private master bedroom and bath, a second bedroom with private bathroom, living room and dining room area and powder room. Castle Peak Suites range in size from 1450 to 1600 sf, are located in the new wing and each feature a different floor plan. Typical floor plans offer 2 separate bedrooms each with a private bath, living room, wet bar, dining area and powder room. Many also offer oversized decks.
