Our stay was great. I thought the location was excellent, very close to all that we wanted to see, White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Aquarium, Museum of Natural History. The breakfast buffet was really great, the kids asked to go every day. The prices were great for the kids, but alittle expensive for adults. We didn't eat any other meals in the hotel. Nice to have Starbucks so conveniently located in the hotel. Our only complaint was the pool: it was really cold and the area around the pool was slippery. Overall we would go back again and recommend it to families. Staff was very family friendly.

This was a very nice hotel right in the middle of all the important activities to do. They were very prompt in our requests, and all staff was very friendly.

I travel a lot for business and am shocked that this is considered a JW. I was warned not to stay hear and I should have listened. The sheets and towels were stained, light bulbs missing in lamps, kleenex holder had no kleenex, pillows not comfortable, key kept having to be reset since it wouldn't work, restaurant food was below average, security at front door was tight after 6PM which gave the impression they have proly blems with that at night. I'm surprised it still flies the JW Marriott flag. There are so many better priced hotels within blocks of this JW, carefully consider whether you want to stay here. For those travelers familiar with JW Marriott hotels - this one is NOT the same in value for the price.

We usually stay at this hotel when we visit Washington and will stay there again. On this visit there were dozens of ants in the bathroom. The hotel engineering staff eradicated them fairly quickly after they were called.

Excellent location, We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The room was small but it was clean & the bed was very comfortable. No hallway noise. great view. We had a king city view room. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. This was out first trip to DC and there was still so much to see. When we go back we will stay at the JW Marroitt again. They are just finishing up the renovations to the lobby/elevator areas. The rest of the hotel is completely redone. We had no trouble with any construction going on.
