This place has Wash Vegas written all over it...... In other words, the Wardman Park Marriott is big, shoddy, and really damn expensive. So, I spent 4...

Very pretty hotel, it actually doesn't look like a hotel from the outside. I was here for a trade show, and holy cow is this place busy. A little difficult...

Ok if you aren't footing the bill
This hotel lives down to the many online reviews. We stayed here because of a conference, so the room cost was covered by my company. ...

A construction zone
Construction begins at 7:24 am. If you are an early riser, this hotel would be fine, but if not, do not expect to get a good night's sleep. D...

My husband and I attended a conventioned and stayed in the Executive Suite for 5 nights. The room service was poor, breakfast was an hour late the first morning and the order was wrong. The food at the Pub/Bar was not impressive although it was edible. The buffet on Sat am in the main rest. was absolutely fabulous for me, so so for my husband. I thought our house keeper did a great job and she was very nice. We ordered breakfast for a meeting and again it was late and again it was wrong. The staff looked overworked and harried during the convention. Friday afternoon, after the majority of the convention left, the change in atmosphere was immediate. We found mints on our pillows for the first time that evening! The way it was explained to me is that convention hotels aren't really worried about repeat business (for the convention goers) as most conventions circulate. I was happy with the doormen and valets I thought they did a great job getting crowds out in their taxis. When I tried calling room service for the breakfast meeting the phone rang for 5 minutes without answer. When I called the front desk the woman walked my room number down to where room service was and asked them to call me. So the service was inconsistent, some employee's went out of their way to help while some did the least they could. Quite a large number of people I met that attended the convention stayed in a different hotel because they had already experienced this type of convention hotel mentality.

Well, upon check in I was handed my room keys andwas just told were my room was located. No explanation about my package..the Panda Package..the parking and a Panda Welcome kit was supposed to be given to me..but none was given.. no parking pass perhaps a smile at least ..but none...so I had to go back to the deskl and ask for al the above mentioned items..they were apologetic and all, but when I asked for an additional Panda Welcome kit (which I was willing to pay for) I was told no..they had to order it???? So I get all my needed materials and we go and park the car in a hard to find parking garage..terrible and confusing to say the least. We get to room which is not at all near the pretty part of the hotel as pictured in the photos, but in the back which is not even the same building that the pictures show on the web site!@#....we open out curtains to see the garbage dump below and the apartment building next door..not attractive at all:) We found breakfast dishes in the hall way that must of been left over from the prior guests at our door and they were not taken away until later on that night...we ordered in our first night and our dishes also stayed in the hallway all night into the day..so house keeping was not up to par:( Not the best hotel..the staff was nice expect for the first girl at check in whom I did not see at all after that first experience..I would not stay there again...for the price * per night and the rooms location not worth it.

great room! got one of the renovated ones with flatscreen. Really quick walk to stretch of restaurants, and if you don't mind walking further (10-15 minutes) easy to get to Adam's Morgan. Service was outstanding.

When we checked in at 5 pm we asked for a rollaway. We called 5 times before they brought it at 10:30 pm. Room Service button on the phone connected to someplace else. We ordered a pizza and they brought us the wrong food. We decided to watch a movie or TV show while waiting for the rollaway and pizza but the remote was dead. I called three times for the remote. After a few hours, they brought a new one. We checked out the next morning and went to another hotel.

The hotel is in a great location and was decorated beautifully. The parking lot was a little confusing, and the customer service slow.
