The Wi Fi was fine and the noise wasn't bad. The receptionist said the noise tends to be on the first three floors. I was on the fifth and it was relatively...

From the front desk to the last detail, the Quincy was a delightful hotel for our family's vacation. They provided us with plenty of space, a clean and updated atmosphere and friendly service for all of our needs. Even after we returned home, they were helpful in returning a lost item that one of the children left behind. The little kitchenette was fully equiped and we were able to have microwaved popcorn for a before bedtime snack. The Quincy was conveniently located near two Metro stations and in the heart of the downtown area near the Hop-a-Bus route. We would stay there again and recommend it to anyone planning to visit Washington, DC.

Our room had a stove, refrig. and microwave. We were within just a few blocks from the subway station. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. My husband used the complimentary Bally Fitness center everyday. The front desk was helpful with every question we had. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel staff were all excellent. Very helpful and friendly. We were on a tight budget and everyone went out of their way to give us suggestions on inexpensive activities. The rooms were fantastic and comfortable. I love Washington D.C. and I love The Quincy! I would definitely stay there again. The only down side was the noise from the back alley and trash trucks nightly. After the first night, I just slept through the noise. If you are finicky, get some earplugs.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay perfect. They answered questions, recommended restaurants, told us how to get around town and took care of any needs immediately. The room was perfect, and yes, you can hear the trash truck around 6:00 each morning, but the staff, room size and location more than make up for this inconvenience. We were able to walk to the White House (about 10 minutes) and shop downtown while feeling completely safe. I loved the metro and found this to be the cheapest way to get to Union Station and the hill. The trolley car tour (hop one and off) was the perfect way to see the sites and take pictures. The Corner Bakery is located just outside the front door and was the perfect place for breakfast! Luigi's Italian restaurant is around the corner and if you love pizza......you are at the right place. The Daily Grill is also a good restaurant, but my favorite place was Capitol city Brewing Company. CVS pharmacy is just down the street. We will be back and I can't wait to stay at the Quincy again.

I travel a lot for business and pleasure and am a picky traveler (just ask my husband about changing hotels 3 times in London before being satisfied). The Quincy was just about perfect. Small and very clean (looked like it was recently renovated) but with large and well-equipped rooms (micro, refrigerator, couch, good toiletries, thick fluffy towels, sumptuous soft linens and pillows) it is very well located (2 short blocks to subway and park, 4 blocks to the White House) with essential surrounding services (3 coffee shops, restaurants, book & drug stores, easy well priced garages--only complaint is that the Quincy garage was --we did not use it). You won't be disappointed.

The hotel itself was very nice. The problem was the noise. We stayed on the 9th floor with the windows closed and were awakened continuously throughout the night by trash trucks and dumpster removals. In the early morning hours we were awakened by construction noise. No sleep for the first two nights. We finally bought some earplus which did help some. The other problem was that the heating and air system is not individualized. The hotle has one system and you are at the mercy of the controller at the front desk. We were very hot during most of our stay. Luckily we were not inside the hotel much. The rate was great and the rooms were big , clean and adequately appointed. If you stay here ask to be on an upper floor at the front side of the hotel. Do not face the alley or you will not have any quiet.
