the room was a great value for the money. It was cleaned daily and fresh linens placed. the ladies at the desk helped us with all or questions and helped us book transportaion. the restraunt on site was also a great place to start the day. the meals were priced to fit any budget.

Booked this hotel for a one night stay at the start and end of our vacation since we were flying in and out of St. Augustine. The rooms do not look like the pictures. We got in late and were put on the 4th floor. I'm sure the place wasn't full. The room was small and dingy. curtains had a big hole in them and ratty looking. The bed I slept in had a bad odor that could be smelled through the sheets. Drinking glasses not sterile. Bathroom old and dingy. We cancelled our 2nd reservation for this hotel and would never stay here again.

We went to St. Augustine for a quick post-Christmas get-away. Had a nice, clean spacious room for 70/night. Management advised us that all mattresses were brand new. Ours was very comfortable. Hotel has a nice little diner type restaurant that has great, resanonably priced breakfasts. Location is great for sight-seeing. Very pleasant experience.

We were disappointed in room. Twice had to call for service on tv. Room wasn't very clean. Small area to walk dog. Not a lot of parking. Bad meal at attached restaurant. Only good thing was location for walking to various things.

We stayed here because a family member had a destination wedding to St. Augustine. Our whole family stayed at Casa Monica for 300/night, but we couldn't afford that so we chose this place. We paid 100 a night which was not worth it at all, but every hotel in that city charges similar prices so we had no choice. It's location is easy to get to from the main highway, but you are about 2 miles from where you want to be in the downtown area. You must have a rental car if you stay here. They never cleaned our room, even though we left each morning between 7 and 8am. We constantly had to call down to get supplies and the housekeepers seemed confused as to why we needed anything. In fact, the staff is nice, but utterly clueless and seem to be in a parallel universe with teh way they act. It's like stepping intot he Twilight Zone. The room was dirty and cramped, hard to move around the furniture. We had three women in one room, which we knew would be tight anyways, but one side of the double beds is completely flush against the wall, so you can't get to one side of the bed. All in all, stay here if you don't care about the room, are there to party, and need to pay cheap prices. Other alternatives I would go to in town would be Casa Monica or the Hilton, Montery Inn, one of those on the corner of downtown facing the ocean. Also, be prepared because all the restaurants we went to in this town were awful, no matter the price or cuisine. Keep with the chains, which are found on your way to the beaches, outside of the historic district.
