Location can't be beat. You are in walking distance to Universal or you can take the water taxi. The Hotel is very cool, with rock memorabilia from a wide range of performers. The pool rocks the house, with music underwater, a waterslide and even dive in movies. Emack&Bolio's Ice cream parlor is awesome and the staff there is very friendly and helpful. Thought the front desk staff could be a bit snooty. Hard to figure out since I am the one paying 300 a nite to stay, but whatever. The hotel key is your express pass to the rides and that is worth every dime of the rather high hotel rates. LOOOONG walk to the elevators for tired kids, but still a great stay. Loews hotel staff is outstanding for the most part. Beds are DREADFUL! Hard Rock describes the beds perfectly! In room coffee is outrageously overpriced. The hotel was very clean and the cleaning staff was very accommodating. You might want to tell them in advance not to try to clean your room at 8:30am. Lots of pool activities and a nice bar and restaurant at poolside. overall our favorite thing was the awesome location and the express passes. Rooms are much larger than Royal Pacific and location is more convenient than Portofino Bay. If you have kids from 8 to 18, they will love it. If you are staying on one of the nights there is a concert on site, it will be really, really loud and strange folks will be wondering about the hotel.

I have read over other peoples reviews. PEOPLE IT IS THE HARD ROCK HOTEL. OF COURSE IT IS GOING TO BE LOUD, OF COURSE THE POOL WILL HAVE ALOT OF PEOPLE, OF COURSE THERE WILL BE A BAND PLAYING IN THE LOBBY AND AT THE POOL. GET IT RIGHT ITS FOR ROCK AND ROLL AND A GOOD TIME. My family and I had the greatest time there. The hotel is wonderful but it is worth the money. The great thing is, the pool is the kids favorite place. The Lifeguards are the most friendliest people ever. They took my kids and sat them up on the stand and had them help lifeguard. The kids wanted to leave the parks to go to the pool and so did alot of other families I talked to when I was there. The rooms are okay and so are the beds. But unlike Portofino and Royal Pacific the pool and bar are open until 12am. The other hotels bar and pool close at 7. The pool is great. It has a HUGE WATER SLIDE. Bands and DJS playing. The dj was awesome. he had kid and adult games. FREE DRINKS! The miller cill and bud light girls were at the pool giving free beer. YES FREE BEER! The beach at the pool is awesome. At night they show either a movie or a concert on a giant movie screen. The location is perfect. 5 Minutes from the parks and citywalk. HRH MOTTO IS IF YOU DONT COME TO ROCK, DONT COME AND I TOTALLY AGREE. GO TO THIS HOTEL. TRUST ME ITS AWESOME!

1. light did not work in vanity area 2. exhaust fan did not work in bathroom 3. asked for smoking room, no ash trays 4. returned to room after 5 p.m. and it had not been cleaned 5. The only way you could get a coke late was to call room service and pay upwards of 7.00 or enter the bar 6. they did not nickel and dime you to death, they five and ten you 7. parking was not very convenient. Had to walk down 2 flights of stairs to vehicle 8. dog barked both nights late into the night a few rooms down 9. And to top everything, at 11:OO pm we were awakened by another guest, who had been assigned our room It is a beautiful facility, but for my money it was a total disappointment It's location is excellent but be prepared to pay for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WILL NOT RETURN, PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This hotel nickle and dimes you for everything. The quality of food in the kitchen was poor and the waiter was only interested in selling us drinks to raise the tab. The noise level at this hotel is very loud, well into the late evening. The music is on at the pool until 11 or 12 and can be heard in your room, especially if you are on a lower level. This hotel seems to be popular with families with teens and they were running up and down the halls all night, making sleep difficult. The Royal Pacific is a better deal for the money. But at this price, go Disney!

My first stay at any Hard Rock Hotel but as rock music lover the sounds where hot the place was jumping the room was very roomy and comfortable . My only issue was check in room wasn't ready on a very very busy Saturday afternoon,It was Wrestlemania weekend with over 80,000 people coming to Orlando just for that alone is a lot. I did get some credit for my time lost. food downstairs in The Kitchen was hot and tasty, From 6am to 12pm serve a hot breakfast buffet. Fast water shuttle to Universal City Walk . Valet very busy but on time. great mini coffees in your room, 27 in flat screen TV, I POD dock radio plus a separate Cd player. I only wished i had more time to enjoy the room. Price is worth front line access to all Universal rides and the comfort .

I loved the location especially because it was right next to the theme parks. The rooms were good sized and the beds were very soft this was one of the best hotels I have ever been to. It was a very good price for how luxurious the hotel was I would definitly stay there another time.
