First off, I'd like to say that what we saw online during the time we took looking for a hotel was a waste of time since they didn't update their hotel site. There were a couple of things that they had on there that didn't match when we finally arrived. First was the kitchen/kitchenette, which they didn't specify where they were located. We found out the hard way that they were only in 4 rooms out of the 70 they had. Secondly, they put on their site that you could kindly ask for a microwave when we call the front desk to find out that there are no microwaves for ordering. We had to walk to the lobby, which was a different building that we didn't know of til we got there, to microwave a couple of things in the business room, which ended up being a computer, desk, and broken down chairs. The hotel room it-self wasn't what we thought it was as well. We found what seemed to be a smear on the bathroom doorway, broken hangers in and around the closet, no key to the safe, the A/C unit went to the bed then under with no circulation around the room meaning the front half of the room was cool while the other half, the half you mostly use, was warm/hot. Overall, this stay was a very big suprise to us and despite our situation, we made the best of it. On the other hand

Run, be afriad, be very afraid. Transient motel at best. Stinky rooms, dirty old bedding and furniture. Bar outside your front door overrun w/local drunks. Anywhere but here!

If you want a noisy bar outside your door with locals fighting, ladies of the night, bugs, room that was updated in 1952 and filthy, this place is for you. BEWARE! Spend * more and stay next door at The Yankee Clipper (Sheraton)

We had a great time, the first night we were there we met OJ Simpson. Tis is a great place to go if you wanna party, and be close to the beach and the Fort Lauderdale nightlife.

The room was small and there was a fight outside my room in the middle of the night. Management refused to make any accomodation & I never would take my family to this motel. The room was extremely noisy and uncomfortable.

i have stayed here several times before leaving on a cruise (more than 4 so far) i came with friends the first 2 times and brought friends and family the next 2 or 3. I am planning to stay again this May with my daughter and great-grandson for their second time this May. Always fun!!Good food Good drinks and great music. You can't get more for your in any state. i lived in California the first few times I visited with friends from Washington State and believe me they could have stayed in ANY hotel in Florida but chose the Bahia Cabana. Keep up the good work the ambiance is wonderful!
