The thing we liked most about The hilton was that everything you needed was right there on the property. The dinning, the shoping, the activities. A very nice pool area with a small lagoon for the kids. For the money one of the nicest and most comfortable rooms . Close proximity to the downtown area. Very nice and clean beach area, friendly staff.

BEACH LOCATION ON WAIKIKI CAN'T BE BEAT. THOUGH THERE ARE BETTER ACCOMODATIONS FOR THE MONEY ON THE ISLAND(s). COMPARED TO THE RESORT, THE ROOMS ARE NOT IMPRESSIVE. STAFF RANGE FROM VERY GOOD TO VERY FAIR. PLENTY OF DINING ESTABLISHMENTS FROM CASUAL TO FANCY, FROM PIZZA TO 5 COURSE AND BUFFET. SOME WITH INTERTAINMENT. * PER NIGHT TO PARK IN THE GARAGE IS ABSURD. NEARBY GARAGE OFF PROPERTY IS *. FIREWORKS EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT IS GREAT FOR THE FAMILY. HAVING MOST EVERYTHING THAT YOU NEED AT YOUR FINGERTIPS IS A PLUS, BUT THE MOST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK, IT'S NOT. WOULD I GO TO THIS RESORT AGAIN? MAYBE. WOULD IT BE MY FIRST CHOICE? PROBABLY NOT.

This hotel was gorgeous and the bed really comfy. There are lots of things to sign up for and do, that cost extra money. Parking was 24 a night. We ate in 4 of the hotel resturaunts and they were just ok for the expensive prices (except Roundtable pizza, awesome!) Housekeeping was very slow. We had to wait hours for our room the night we checked in, and after leaving early in the morning to go snorkeling and coming back at 2PM for a shower and nap our room was still not done and the maids kept knocking on our door till we left. We had a great time but left with a sour note when we signed up for a "shuttle" to the airport. We thought it would be free like other hotels in the US, but they told us it would be * each at a certain time. Then at that time a lady came and collected our money, then they hailed a cab! The lady discreetly gave the cabie some money and we drove away!Just taking a cab would have been cheaper. The airport is very close, we had driven from it in a car and had rode the bus.

This hotel is so beautiful and clean. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained daily. Everyone that works at this hotel is plesant and very helpful. The beach is right at your door step staying at this property. There is so much to see and do at the Hilton that you could enjoy this property with out ever doing another thing. Naturally you will want to go on tours and see the beautiful Island and all arrangements can be made at the Hilton to do anything that your heart desires. On our next visit to Waikiki we will stay at this same resort! You can't improve on perfection and tha's what you'll find at this hotel. Enjoy your travels. Happy in Georgia

Great hotel. The pool was nice, but the late afternoon sun is shaded by the Rainbow Tower. That's ok, we just moved to the beach if we wanted more sun. It was nice to be able to float in the ocean in a safe environment. Waves are kept at bay by the reef. Could surf right off the beach as well. My reccomendation, if you want to surf but didn't bring a board, don't rent from the hotel. Waayyy tooo costly. The hotel activities center wanted 35 for 2 hours, for the day, and for 24 hours. Walk toward the Hale Koa and rent from the public beach activities center. You can rent a board there for have that. The only real problem with the hotel, is they don't have a real nice restaurant right on the beach. They are in the process of building one now though. They do have a nice casual place though (Tropics), that is decent for drinks or lunch.
