We tried the Ritz-Carlton Chicago for a change for a birthday celebration on 3/9 and were very satisfied with our selection. The inventive milkshakes...

The hotel exceeded every expectation I had. I am not very computer literate so I called the hotel and asked if they had any special rates for the nights I needed. I spoke with the evening manager and she was amazing. She found a special rate for us that I did not see immediately on line and she booked the hotel for us. It was still expensive but worth it because of the luxury we stayed in and the wonderful service we received. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was large and amazing! We found chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of Pellegrino water when we arrived in our room. Finally, I asked for late check-out so we could get in one last tour on Sunday morning. They allowed us to stay until 4:00 with no additional charges. We would definitely stay here again when we are in Chicago.

They treat you like a quest, the rooms were plush, but it sure was expensive for a place to sleep. The only thing that bothered me was an extra 6 dollar charge on my credit card. I didn't dare touch the food in the room, so I'm curious as to the charge (since they did not return my call about it), And anyway, for 600 dollars a night, they should have given you a bag of M&M's.

We were looking for 1 night in the city for our anniversary. We could have stayed anywhere, but figured that the Ritz is ALWAYS the Ritz, so it would be nice. They surpassed all of our expectations! They upgraded us at check in when they asked the nature of our trip. The service was excellent in every aspect, maybe too much sometimes, but an overall wonderful experience. The rooms are decorated in a somewhat subdued manner with antique looking furniture, but the bedding is exquisite! Very pricey, but worth it for a romantic getaway!
We went with a whole family for breakfast and it was amazing. Prices are not all that creazy and excellent service, food and coffe. The decor i...
