The Dauphine Orleans is situated in the heart of the French Quarter, just steps from local attractions including Jackson Square, Aquarium of the Americas, Bourbon Street, and the Central Business District.Guest rooms feature hairdryers, bathrobes, goose-down pillows, irons, ironing boards and in-room safes. Hotel amenities include ATM, fax/photocopy service, wake-up calls, 24-hour front desk, complimentary continental breakfast, complimentary afternoon tea, fitness and exercise room, concierge, coffee lounge, and hotel bar. Parking is available at 28.00 plus tax per night. There is an additional 4.00 plus tax surcharge on larger vehicles.Extra-person charges may apply. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to register for a room. Photo identification and credit card or cash deposit are required at check-in for incidental charges. Special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges. This hotel is a non smoking property. Guests will be charged a 250.00 cleaning fee if this policy is violated. Pets are not allowed. Check-in time is 3 PM. Check-out time is noon.

I chose this hotel for its price and proximity to the French Quarter, but with very little knowledge of the hotel, and few reviews to make a judgement. I was very pleasantly surprised! Very nice, and comfortable rooms and beds, FANTASTIC location, nice balconies off each room, friendly staff, nice complimentary breakfast. Would most certainly stay again!

The staff was professional, fast, and friendly. A+ in my book! The only issue we had was the room cardkey not working periodically, but the front desk was very fast to respond and get a new card key to us immediately. Being one block off Bourbon Street, I was concerned about the noise. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet the rooms were! I will definitely stay there again for the impeccable customer service, as well as the convenient location.

The staff from check-in to check-out were very helpful. There are different buildings the make up this hotel. The hotel is being renovated and we asked for a newly renovated room and were on the 3rd floor. Everything in the room was new and the bed was great. It is only 1 block from Bourbon St. but in a quiet area, easy walk to riverfront, trolly, & shopping. All the areas around the pool and little quaint sitting areas were kept up neat and clean. There was a work out room, but after all our walking we just wanted to relax by the pool. We did not have a car, but there is underground parking at the hotel, there is a charge. Great free breakfast buffet in the hotel. There are resturants on every block by the hotel, 5 star to the corner grab a snack. We would go back.

The family enjoys the sites, food and sound of New Orleans. We found this hotel via Travelocity at an affordable price. Construction was taking place during our stay but did not interrupt our trip. Decent free breakfast in the morning. Convenient pool. Walking distance to trolley's, stores, the riverfront and shopping. On our first night we did not receive the room we reserved. When we mentioned the "view" the next morning, we were transferred without incident to another room with a view of the parking garage. The managment did not offer a discount for the wrong room or parking lot "view". The room was clean and okay for a trip without the husband, I would only stay again if visiting with the children. IF visiting with the entire family we would opt for a suite hotel. The hotel is good for couples or older tourist.

Booked deluxe room with view....got a standard room...went to desk to inquire got argument...when we explained that we had proof offer to move to another room or discount offered....I don't think that there is a deluxe room with a view...beware

Great location, just 1 block off Bourbon street, so you are able to be close, yet not in the middle of the craziness. Very Clean, and the beds were the most comfortable that I have expererienced in a hotel setting. Also, the free newspaper left by the door was a nice touch.
