New Orleans hottest and hippest new property, located in the Arts District, within easy walking distance to the Convention Center and the French Quarter. Hotel Le Cirque offers the ultimate in convenience and comfort, and invites you to live, laugh and love while you are in New Orleans.
There's good and bad things about this hotel, so lemme just cut to the chase and itemize it all..
Good:
The front desk staff.. The woman that checked us...

This was a nice, chic hotel. Very clean. Small shower. Comfortable bed. Parking was 20/night until we decided to park in the circle for free for the remainder of the visit. Charges for an in room safe even if you don't use it. Local calls are .98 from the room. Easy access to the highway. View of Lee Circle as well as the bums that inhibit it. I wasn't impressed with the area it was located in. I guess we expected more being that it was in the arts/warehouse district. "

The shower head in the bath tub was so powerful the head flew off the wall you had to hold the shower head and try to bath at the same time. There was a piece of tile from base boards in bath not repaired and the toliet leaked. The lobby was very nice and the rooms were decorated very contemporary but the rooms were very small. The towels and bed were very soft.

All of New Orleans is having a real rough time, recovering from Katrina still! We had a nice clean room. We were able to park right behind the hotel, they have an entrance there. Everyone in an around the hotel was so nice. Walking distance to WWII Museum and Emeril's. Emeril's is wonderful! All of the southern hotels had to board evacuees until late in 2006. Location was great for this season! We had a view of Lee Circle. It was just off of the interstate, so easy to get to. Will go again.

For the price, I expected a better hotel. The service was good - after an mistake (after they couldn't find my reservation), they changed my room - but the layout of the room was terrible. The TV was off to the left side of the bed. The second room had a better layout, but there was absolutely no countertop in the bathroom - just a sink. Not to mention the room (a Queen) was extremely cramped for two people. I wouldn't mind staying here again, but only if the price was dropped to about 50-60 a night.

The website definitely needs updating! The rooms were dirty and we had to walk through construction to get to our room. The area is bad and isn't safe-I'm surprised our cars weren't broken into. We switched rooms 3 times because they each were dirty. The last room had a dead cricket and hair on the floor. It is a hole....oh, and we confirmed that the hotel wasn't really even damaged by Katrina. I could have sympathy if that was the case but it is just dirty with no excuse.

The website for Le Cirque needs some serious updating. There are no food services (website says free continental breakfast), internet service is via wireless connection and slow. Homeless people are abundant outside so you can't walk around at night. There aren't any restaurants that are open that are in walking distance. Rooms are dirty, carpet is disgusting. Only positive is the people working here are nice and apologetic. Take your dollars elsewhere right now. This was probably a hip/cool hotel before Katrina but that was then and this is now.
