Embassy Suites are among my fav's when travelling with my family, the beds are in a separate room which allows my wife and I to relax and have a glass of wine while the kids fall asleep. This hotel is new and really quite elegant looking - they have an "open" check-in desk which is a neat concept, the bar, pool and breakfast were all great. And the price was slightly less than usual for an ES. One bad mark were the "double" beds - they were the smallest double bed I have ever seen. they are not big enough for two average-sized adults. I didn't measure the width with great accuracy, but I can tell you they were NOT 54" wide; and I suspect that they were actually what is known as "Three Quarter" beds (48") and that extra six inches would have been welcomed. I also have to say the pillows were not up to ES standards either. When we travel through St. Louis again we will definitely find another hotel.

This might have been the best Embassy Suites. Excellent service and excellent location. We were attending a dance competion with a large number of families. The facility was very accomodating.

Joanie at the check in desk was very gracious. We explained that we had reserved at room at the Sheraton Crown Plaza in Clayton for our 25th anniversary, but LEFT after seeing it. (It was NOT good ) Joanie immediatly gave us a suite that was cleaner, quiet, better view- complimentary movie coupon- food/drinks wonderful---staff was exceptionally helpful. Kudos to Joanie for taking what could have been a real disappoinment and assisting us at the last minute-- we had a great weekend! We'll stay again!

New rooms, but service was terrible. Witnessed staff tell a lady with a walker that she had to stand in line in order to get SCRAMBLED EGGS. The buffet ran short of food every morning. Staff was snappy and unpleasant.

We had 1 child with us & she liked the hotel as well as we did. The food was very good, very quiet, staff very helpful & good location. Would stay again.
