After waiting 20 minutes for someone to come to the checkin desk, I was told the ocean tower I upgraded to was unavailable, there was nothing they could do and that I could not be refunded if I switched hotels. My room's small window had a lovely view of a couple eating in the restaurant. I know it's a big hotel, but I was still hoping for minimal service.

We have got a king-bed room in the Temple tower. The room was spacious, clean, but a bit of old style. Bathroom was updated with frameless glass door shower, but the new toilet was very small and shellow causing my private organs to emerse in the toilet water, which was not the most comfortable experience (I am an average guy, not trying to brag here). The mattrass was very soft: my wife liked it; I hated it, woke up with back pain. There is construction going on at this tower and they started the noise at 8:00 AM. That was not appreciated.

The staff was very pleasant and provided excellent service. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and even though construction was going on, it wasn't terribly obtrusive. Dining in the casino was easy, a pleasant experience, and very good food. The wireless internet connection wasn't easy to set up, and there were no instructions in the room booklet. However, the hotel staff was extremely helpful in fixing our problems. The only downside was that the bed was extremely firm, which my husband appreciated but I didn't.

though this hotel was beautiful we had the most interesting thing happen to us there. the valet listed us by our race (in the name portion) of our valet ticket. they also made us pay visitor price instead of the guest price. the management tried his best to make up for it though and it was greatly appreciated. the casino is really nice. good drinks. close to EVERYTHING. would stay again

I stayed here recently and was disappointed in the accomodations. This is the most expensive Harrah's property to stay in while visiting AC and it wasn't that great. The bedding and towels in the rooms were superior, but the room was small and dark, the bathroom the same and the elevator to our tower looked like a little service elevator. Not hugely impressed. (beds great, though) Location of the casino/hotel is what makes this worthwhile. It is centralized on the boardwalk and is connected indoors to Bally's and then to Claridge.

The Roman empire it's not, but for Bond-like baccarat and an unbeatable bar scene, this colossal casino beats the odds.
