What can I say but Santa Fe is heaven and the Governer's Inn is part of it. Everything about it was excellent. The location, two blocks from the Plaza, yet quiet. Beautiful flowers. The afternoon tea and sherry was a nice perk. Staff was excellent and helpful. The morning buffet has everything you can think of on a breakfast menu. It is a cozy spot in downtown Santa Fe. I felt right at home. I will definitely go back to the Governer's Inn.

With our kids in tow, we overwhelmingly decided to stay at this hotel again on the same trip. The housekeeping service was excellent (ordered an extra set of towels and it was delivered in under 4 minutes, right to our room). Front desk workers were great. The "Free Continental Breakfast" is phenomenal!! Outstanding job by all the restaurant staff. This hotel is only a block or 2 from the famous Plaza with all it's great shops and vendors.Would definitely recommend to anyone heading to Santa Fe!

The central location of the hotel is the best, but more importantly, the layout gives the impression of seclusion...an oasis in the midst of a city! The restaurants, and the pool, and the food, all were fantastic! Santa Fe's most popular sites are only blocks away! Parking is available for free within the hotels fenced courtyard. There's a trolly tour of the city just blocks away that everyone should take. I wish some one had told me not to shop in New Mexico UNTIL I got to Santa Fe. Save your money for this city!

This hotel, like all others near the plaza, is ridiculously overpriced for what is offered. The rooms stank of sewer gas and it took two days of complaining before it was fixed. But the breakfast buffet and afternoon sherry are good and included. Though overpriced for what you get, this hotel is not so overpriced as others near the plaza.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in Santa Fe. The staff was friendly. It was a great location. We parked the car and were able to walk everywere. We arrived late for breakfast on Monday and the staff was very accommodating.
