This was the first time ever to New York and it was a great experience. The hotel was centrally located so traveling around Manhattan was easy. Close to SoHo, 2 blocks from Little Italy (our favorite) and smack in the middle of China Town. The rooms are very nice but a little tight for four and the breakfast area is a little crowed in the mornings. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and we chose it from the other reviews posted.

Very nice hotel with beautiful, modern rooms. I've stayed in several hotels within the NY area - and this by far has been the best. Excellent loction and friendly staff. One down point... computers were down the morning I checked out.. I was offered a faxed or mailed receipt. Hopefully I'll receive the mailed receipt soon.

This hotel was a hidden gem in Chinatown. The rooms were refurbished just two months ago and were VERY modern, nicely appointed, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, flexible, and professional. The hotel was located very conveniently to the subway. We would absolutely stay there again. If you're one of those people who is too snobby to stay anywhere other than uptown, you're not reading this review anyway........for everyone else, this hotel is a great way to stay in a very nice Manhattan hotel without the Manhattan cost.

Have stayed in hotels costing 4 and 5 times this amount in central park area for romantics trips with the wife. This trip was with the boys to go to a Yankees game and a Mets game. The entire hotel experience greatly exceeded the exceptations I had based on the price and minimal information avaible on the web site. I have already recommended the hotel to a friend heading to New York City later this summer.

I really can't find anything good to say about our stay at this motel. The room was smokey, carpet damp, wallpaper peeling, curtains hanging by safety pins, hairs on bathroom floor, tv didn't work...just an unpleasant experience overall. No upgrades were available per staff, so we suffered for the night. It was bad enough that we drove around awhile looking for "no vacancy" signs just so we could sleep in a clean room. No such luck. I now realize that for 10 more I could have stayed in a nicer hotel or even a bed and breakfast. Don't waste your time with this place, it's not worth the money.

WE stayed here 2 nights-- very clean, modest and 70's style. Would definitely stay there again. Had a refrigerator. safe and quiet. Our stay was not in high season. Great location to activities at the Cape. Have great senior rates besides.
